The Elven Ingot Grinder is a crafting item used for grinding ingots and creating some Food items. It is a starting item if the player selects the Tinkering Skill. It can also be found as a random item throughout the game, although it is more likely to be found in specialized "smithing" or "alchemy" Rooms.

The Elven Ingot Grinder can be used to create Alchemy, Smithing and Tinkering components, along with some foodstuffs, by converting a single object into powder or a ground up version. The powders can then be used to create Potions or Bombs, as well as Chalk. Although it is not a starting item for Alchemy, the tool-tip icons indicate that it uses Alchemy as the primary skill. Recipes require no skill and are limited to producing Powdered Aluminium, Rust, Chalk, Ground Meat, and Grated Cheese.
