"The power of clean living, moral superiority, and gluten-magic"
Killer Vegan was added in the first expansion, Realm of the Diggle Gods.
There is a hidden passive disability with this skill tree called Fallen Vegan, which is caused by hitting enemy animals in direct melee.
It debuffs the character by -5 -5 -5 -5 -5 -5 -5 -1 for 200 turns and can stack 3 times. Conveniently, all animals are peaceful toward Killer Vegans.
By eating non-vegan food such as meat or cheese, the player may also incur another debuff called Vegan Purging that subtracts -2 -2 -2 -1 lasting 53 turns and stacking up to 3 times. Please note that factional interactions between peaceful and charmed animals are poorly implemented at this time - basically, they are left completely in the hands of random movement.
 Granted Abilities
|Green Harvest||-||Gives a 50 % chance of harvesting: Apple, Tofu, Pear or Plum whenever you kill an enemy vegetable.|
|Animal Friend||54||Charms a target animal for 100 turns. Charmed animals will attack peaceful animals and enemies. Will NOT unsummon pets the player has created.|
|Vegan Pride||-||Grants 8 bonus experience when killing a vegetable.|
|Vegan Shame||-||This is a debuff activated once you learn Clean Living. Gives -2 -2 -2 -1 in addition to Fallen Vegan whenever hitting animals. Stacks up to 3 times.|
|Aura of Self-Righteousness||-||Gives you an 8 % chance on hitting an enemy or being hit to cast Blinding Flash.|
|Break The Circle Of Life||120||Casts Uncurse on yourself, removing all debuffs.|
- "Level 5 Vegan" is a reference to the Simpsons episode "Lisa the Tree Hugger", in which an animal rights activist claims to be one, classifying it as not eating "anything that casts a shadow".
