"The power of clean living, moral superiority, and gluten-magic"

Killer Vegan was added in the first expansion, Realm of the Diggle Gods.

There is a hidden passive disability with this skill tree called Fallen Vegan, which is caused by hitting enemy animals in direct melee.
It debuffs the character by Burliness -5 Sagacity -5 Caddishness -5 Nimbleness -5 Stubbornness -5 Health Regeneration Bonus -5 Mana Regeneration Bonus -5 Visual Sight Radius -1 for 200 turns and can stack 3 times. Conveniently, all animals are peaceful toward Killer Vegans.
By eating non-vegan food such as meat or cheese, the player may also incur another debuff called Vegan Purging that subtracts Burliness -2 Sagacity -2 Caddishness -2 Existential Damage Resistance -1 lasting 53 turns and stacking up to 3 times. Please note that factional interactions between peaceful and charmed animals are poorly implemented at this time - basically, they are left completely in the hands of random movement.
