Maces starts the player with a Mace gnarled club.pngGnarled Club (See: Starting Equipment).

The increased stats apply twice if two maces are wielded.

Passive: Pedantic Beating Oh, it's hammer time. Your mace-based melee attacks are enhanced and you have a chance to deliver a Pedantic Beating which stuns your enemy and deals damage based on your Burliness.

Dwarven Handshake Cooldown 7 20 % chance on hit to damage for additional Blasting Damage 4 and knocks monsters back 2 tiles.
Crushed Bones - 8 % chance on hit to proc Crushed Bones on a monster. Crushed Bones is a debuff that lasts 68 turns, does not stack, and applies the following conditions: Burliness -2 Nimbleness -4 Melee Power -2 Block Chance -5 Armour Absorption -3.
Ragnar's Meteor Cooldown 13 Damages for Blasting Damage 4 + Crushing Damage ( Melee Power ) in an area 2 tiles long and 3 tiles wide in front of the character and knocks monsters and objects back 1 tile.
Crippling Wound - 4 % chance on hit to proc Crippling Wound on a monster. Crippling Wound is a de-buff that lasts 8 turns, can stack up to 2 times and applies the following conditions: Burliness -2, Sagacity -1, Nimbleness -4, Life Points -3.
Bleeding Out - 8 % chance on hit to proc Bleeding Out on a monster, as well as dealing an additional Piercing Damage 8 on hit. Bleeding Out is a debuff that deals Piercing Damage 3 per turn, lasts 8 turns, can stack up to 3 times and applies the following conditions: Burliness -1, Life Points -3.
Pedantic Beating - 15 % chance on hit to cause additional Crushing Damage ( 4 + Burliness Multi.png .5 ) and a 50 % chance to paralyze the monster for 2 turns.
