"Harness the power of The Ever-Burning, said by the great sages to gently barbeque the void-which-binds-the-worlds. This is all about setting things on fire - setting *everything* on fire."

Promethean Magic is arguably the most "traditional" magic schools, in that it allows the player to deal direct damage very efficiently. If used correctly, Promethean Magic users can eat Monster Zoos for breakfast. However, using its spells at close range can and will damage or even kill the player due to collateral fire damage - even with the granted fire resistance from each new spell.

Like most Promethean spells, the summoning process has the side effect of shooting fire all over the place.
4 Spell fire6 64.png Obvious Fireball Conflagratory Damage Resistance +1 Obvious Fireball It's a giant fireball. It goes BOOM. Then with the burning. What more do you want?
5 Spell fire8 64.png Gog's Tactical Pyre Conflagratory Damage Resistance +1 Gog's Tactical Pyre Summons a wall of fire from The Elemental Plane of Walls of Fire. Burns out over several turns as the otherworldly fuel-line reaches the Peak Mana crisis. Greater magical ability makes the spell easier to cast and the fire burn hotter.
6 Infernal torus64.png Infernal Torus Conflagratory Damage Resistance +1 Infernal Torus By busting some sweet dance moves, you set the dance floor on fire, effectively setting all enemies around you on fire. Also more fire beyond that, it's really quite a mess. Greater magical power makes the fire all the hotter.

Places a rune on the floor where the mouse cursor is. Explodes dealing damage Conflagratory Damage ( 1 + 0.2 Multi.png Magic Power ) Blasting Damage ( 1 + 0.1 Multi.png Magic Power ) to the triggering enemy and spreading fire in a 5x5 grid. If triggered by an enemy the 5Multi.png5 grid of flames takes 1 turn to form. The 5Multi.png5 grid of fire lasts 3 turns and deals Conflagratory Damage 4 damage per hit. The actual rune itself burns for 9 turns dealing Conflagratory Damage 9 damage per tick. The rune cannot be cast on the same tile as an enemy. Doing so will cause the rune to be deflected to a random location. No more than 8 runes may be cast at once.
Summon Wyrmling Mana Points 23 - ( Savvy Multi.png 0.23 ) Summons a wyrmling on the tile your cursor indicates. Upon summoning, deals Conflagratory Damage 4Blasting Damage 4 damaging anything within 1 tile in a cross-shaped pattern. Will unsummon any other pets the player has created.
Obvious Fireball Mana Points 19 - ( Savvy Multi.png 0.13 )

Causes a 3x3 explosion centered over the tile your cursor indicates, dealing Conflagratory Damage ( 2 + Magic Power Multi.png 0.25 ) Blasting Damage ( 2 + Magic Power Multi.png 0.2 ) damage. In addition, causes flames over a 5Multi.png5 grid which last 3 turns and deal Conflagratory Damage 4 damage per tick. The 5Multi.png5 field of fire only damages things moving on to an affected tile.
Gog's Tactical Pyre Mana Points 16 - ( Savvy Multi.png 0.23 )

Creates a single square sized wall of fire per cast. This only causes damage to creatures that move into it, although it can be cast directly underneath existing creatures. It also sets creatures in the square on fire. It last for 14 turns, dealing Conflagratory Damage ( 8 + Magic Power Multi.png 0.45 ) damage per tick. The effects stack (although the one which you cast before (if on enemy) will only give contact damage).
Infernal Torus Mana Points 39 - ( Savvy Multi.png 0.38 )

Sends out rings of fire centered on the player that spread for 3 tiles. The rings' total damage is based on how close the enemies are. The closest enemies take Blasting Damage 10 Conflagratory Damage ( 10 + Magic Power Multi.png 0.35 ) damage, enemies 2 tiles away take Blasting Damage 8 Conflagratory Damage ( 7 + Magic Power Multi.png 0.3 ) damage, and the furthest away enemies take Blasting Damage 6 Conflagratory Damage ( 5 + Magic Power Multi.png 0.25 ) damage. Additionally, it leaves behind a field of fire centered on the player which causes Conflagratory Damage 12 damage per tick to creatures or the player when moving to affected tiles.
