Rogue Scientist is added in the second expansion, You Have To Name The Expansion Pack, and starts the player with a Wand sonic.pngSonic Wand, 2 Thrown acid flask.pngAcid Flasks and 2 Thrown poison flask.pngPoison Flasks. (See: Starting Equipment)

2 Sonic cannon64.png Barometric Pulse Device Sonic Blast You've created a sonic projector which allows you to unleash a focused concussing projectile toward a single target. This weapon deals more damage as your tinkering proficiency improves.
3 Acidical projector64.png Acidical Projector Acidic Damage Resistance +1 Acidical Projector You've created a device which, if you elect to do so, sprays horrible acids at your enemy. The acids become more sophisticated and corrosive as your alchemy skill improves.
4 Clockwork reflexes64.png Clockwork Reflexes Tinkerer Level +1 Passive: Clockwork Reflexes Clockwork mechanisms enhance your reflexes with the cold precision of the machine. Whenever you counterattack there is a chance your limbs will reflexively strike out at enemies in all directions.
5 Gas canister64.png Alchemical Toxin Canister Alchemy Level +1 Alchemical Toxic Canister You toss a crafted alchemical grenade which releases weaponized alchemical spirits. (Do avoid launching it directly at enemies as the grenade has a tendency to ricochet.) The gas becomes deadlier as your alchemy skill improves. Avoid contact with mucus membranes.
6 Rebreather mask64.png Thaumomechnical Rebreather Alchemy Level +1 Thaumomechnical Rebreather You wear a hermetically sealed mask that protects you from various hazardous environments. You have the innate skills to jury-rig a similar, enhanced effect but it requires thaumatic energy to operate.

Baromatic Vortex Blast Your sonic wave projector is upgraded to expell a powerfully overcharged blast which can cascade through the bodies of multiple enemies. This device deals more damage as your tinkering proficiency improves.

Salvage Ooze - 20 % chance to cause killed monsters classifed as "Others" to drop Alchemical Ooze.
Sonic Blast Cooldown 30 Damages targeted monster for Blasting Damage ( Savvy Multi.png 0.34 ), Blasting Damage ( Tinkerer Level Multi.png 5 ) and Blasting Damage ( Tinkerer Level Multi.png 5 ) knocking it back 2 tiles and dazing it. Drains Mana Points 2 in the next turn from the character.
Acidical Projector Cooldown 60 Damages enemies on targeted tiles for Acidic Damage ( 4 + Alchemy Level Multi.png 2 ) and applies Projector Acid Burn (Debuff: Lasts 8 turns, gives Crushing Damage Resistance -5, Slashing Damage Resistance -5, Armour Absorption -10 and deals Acidic Damage ( 2 + Alchemy Level Multi.png 2 ) every turn). Additionally creates acid mist on the targeted tiles, lasting 4 turns. Monsters or the character standing in it will be damaged for Acidic Damage ( 1 + Alchemy Level ) Acidic Damage ( 1 + Alchemy Level ) each turn.
Clockwork Reflexes - Each time the character counter-attacks there is a 20 % chance to attack all enemies in range instead.
Alchemical Toxin Canister Cooldown 90 Spawns a gas canister at the targeted tile for 5 turns. Each turn the canister exists it will create a toxic cloud around it, which lasts for 12 turns and damages anything in it for Putrefying Damage ( 1 + Alchemy Level Multi.png 0.5 ) Acidic Damage ( 1 + Alchemy Level Multi.png 0.5 ) Toxic Damage ( 1 + Alchemy Level Multi.png 0.5 ) Asphyxiative Damage ( 1 + Alchemy Level Multi.png 0.5 ), each cloud created wil be larger than the previous one. Once 5 turns have passed, the canister will continue to emit an additional toxic cloud lasting for 8 turns and damaging anything in it for Putrefying Damage ( 1 + Alchemy Level ) Acidic Damage ( 1 + Alchemy Level ) Toxic Damage ( 1 + Alchemy Level ) Asphyxiative Damage ( 1 + Alchemy Level ).
Thaumomechnical Rebreather Cooldown 40 Buffs the character for Toxic Damage Resistance +2 Asphyxiative Damage Resistance +2 Acidic Damage Resistance +2 Putrefying Damage Resistance +2 requiring an upkeep of Mana Points 1 every 3 turns until cancelled.
Baromatic Vortex Blast Cooldown 90 Damages all monsters hit on its way to the targeted tile for Blasting Damage ( Savvy Multi.png 0.34 ), Blasting Damage ( Tinkerer Level Multi.png 5 ), Blasting Damage ( Tinkerer Level Multi.png 5 ) and Blasting Damage 20, knocking them back and dazing them. Damages targeted monster for additional Blasting Damage ( 4 + Savvy Multi.png 0.34 ) Blasting Damage ( Tinkerer Level Multi.png 6 ) and Blasting Damage ( 4 + Savvy Multi.png 0.34 ) Blasting Damage ( Tinkerer Level Multi.png 6 ), knocking it back 2 tiles and dazing it.
Drains Mana Points 2 each turn for the next 6 turns from the character.

Creates a beam damaging anything hit for Voltaic Damage ( Savvy Multi.png 0.34 ) Aethereal Damage ( 10 + Wandcrafting Level Multi.png 5 ) and burning corpses.
Has a chance of 5 % to proc a debuff of Mana Regeneration Bonus -16 on the character instead, lasting 30 turns. Each turn the debuff is active it may damage the character for Voltaic Damage 2 Aethereal Damage 2 and drain additional Mana Points 2, the chance of this occuring diminishes over time.
