That's what I gleaned while I was studying the actual game code. I had an item that had -4 total negative enchantments, when it was sent to the "negative enchantments" part of the code, it was sent with a counter of 1 (ie, to only get 1 negative enchantment). There might be another interpretation of that, in that it's not counting the negative enchantments total, but is counting the individual applications (ie, if you have an anvil put negative enchantments on twice, it counts that as a total of 2). I'll look into that some more to see if that's the case. --Bhruic 02:01, 6 August 2011 (MDT)
