[edit] Gameplay Category
I think it's safe to say that EVERY page would be part of "Gameplay" as it is currently defined, or do you have a different, more specific definition that gives a need for that category?
Also, can you weigh in on the other two topics on the Wiki Style Guide talk page? --Snicker 18:39, 5 August 2011 (MDT)
- I define Gameplay as something that involves the game and its mechanics. There are enough items (weapons, food, potions etc.) to warrant their own category. Some things just don't have their own category, or have a strangely worded category (The 'Head' category? hehe). Fountains, statues and shrines may have their own category under something like dungeon decorations or features, but I don't think anyone cares to know anything other than 'I need this shrine for a quest' or 'I destroy this for free xp'. It's mostly arbitrary unless I think there's a more suitable category for it. So yea... not items/equipment, not stats, not spells or effects, not builds and not lutefisk shrines, which have their own category despite being the only altar in the game. The Statue of Inconsequentia is a shrine, but since it's the only one I felt it should be included in the 'things you need to know to play the game' category. /Zzinged 08:33, 6 August 2011 (MDT)
[edit] Mod/Admin/Sysop rights
I don't know who to contact about this, i was trying to update my old template:MFactor to accept the new type of scaling introduced in the latest patches and got blocked out due to cascading site protection. Same thing with Template:Stat/Generic.
Do you know someone able to 1-up my wiki status? -- Ishbane 13:06, 6 August 2012 (MST)
