Wands are magical items that are scattered throughout the Dungeons of Dredmor. A wand comes with a number of uses as shown on the tooltip, once these have been used up the item becomes burnt out and useless. Wands can be recharged using the n-Dimensional Lathe and skill in Wandcrafting.
To use a wand, place it in your belt or inventory, then right-click it to prime it. Once the wand is primed, it will show as your active item. Then right click your target to use the wand.
|Arcane Wand||This wand appears to be a piece of arcane machinery graven with magic runes.||Damages single target for ( 10 + 2 ) ( 2 + ).|
|Bony Wand||This wand is bony and unpleasant.||When cast on a dead body, summons a Zomby as a pet.|
|Burnt Out Wand||Once upon a time, this wand was turgid with power. Now it's just garbage.|
|Camera||Take lovely holiday photos, then subject your friends and relatives to them unwillingly!||Damages all monsters in a one-tile-cross around the character for ( 2 + 0.20 ) and paralyzes monsters hit for 6 turns. Half of the damage caused replenishes chracter's .|
Has a 2 % chance to buff the character with Stolen Soul when hitting a monster classified as Animal or Demon.
|Coral Wand||This wand is pretty fabulous, all told. It's also a decent exfoliator.||Heals target for 2 each turn for 10 turns|
|Deciduous Wand||This wand has a lush crop of foliage coming along nicely. It looks a bit like it wants to choke the life out of one of the meat-people...||Damages single target for ( 1 + 2 ) ( 1 + 2 ).|
Invokes Skatha's Roots, Small Weak Poison Cloud and Vile Poison on targeted tile.
|Fiery Wand||It burns with the fires of magical essence imbued deep within.||Damages single target for ( 6 + ) ( 10 + ).|
Invokes Fire 1 on targeted tile.
|Gelatinous Wand||It's rather gooey and seems to eat away at whatever it touches.||Throws My Chemical Explosion at target.|
|Handy Wand||Need a hand with magic? Well, here you go.||Damages for ( 2 + 0.15 ) and knocks monsters, items and furniture in a 33 square up to 3 tiles back. Paralyzes monsters hit for one turn.|
|Icicly Wand||It's a cold, cold wand.||Damages single target for ( 1 + 3 ).|
Invokes Arctic Vortex and Small Snowstorm on targeted tile.
|The Meatwand||Among the more disgusting wands, the Meatwand's effects are confined to meats and certain preserves.||Damages single target for ( 1 + 2 ) and causes it to drop Offal, Cube of Flesh, Fresh Steak or Ground Meat (1 minimum, up to 4 total).|
|The Naarwhaand||Tempered in the cold waters of the Northern Ocean, the Naarwhaand channels the fury of the skies of Hyperborea.||Damages single target for ( 23 + ).|
Invokes Thor's Fulminaric Bolt and Small Snowstorm on targeted tile.
|Pearlescent Wand||This wand twinkles with righteous powers. You know the sort I mean - especially effective on Undead and Daemonic creatures.||Damages single target for ( 10 + 0.2 ).|
Damages for additional ( 5 + 0.5 ) ( 5 + 0.5 ) when hitting a monster classified as Demon or Undead and invokes Fire 1 on the tile it's standing on.
|Rock Wand||Not to be confused with the stony wand, this wand looks like it was dug up out of a quarry.||Damages single target for ( 15 + 0.2 ) and knocks it back one tile.|
|Sonic Wand||The tiny transmission dish emits a focused energy wave that causes enemies to drop their defenses.||Damages single target for ( 2 + 0.2 ) ( 2 + 2 ) ( 2 + 2 ) and dazes it.|
|Stony Wand||Not to be confused with the rock wand, this looks like someone snapped off a stalactite and turned it into a wand.||Damages target for ( 6 + 0.25 ) + 2 and knocks it back one tile.|
Creates a stone pillar on the targeted tile lasting 48 turns.
|Tentacular Wand||This wand is funny-smelling and it might have just moved a little.||Invokes Tentacular Infestation Bolt on target.|
|Wand of Bling||The power of bling is not a power to be taken lightly.||Damages single target for ( 10 + 0.5 ) and makes it bleed fourfold the damage as Zorkmids.|
|Wand of Tesla||Crafted by the feared Wizard Tesla, this wand tingles with inconceivable power.||Buffs target by +6 +2 for 90 turns.|
Buffed target has a 30 % chance to create an electric arc below hit enemies lasting 5 turns and damaging for ( 2 + 0.2 ) each turn.
|Wand of Transmogrification||Invented in an uncharacteristic fit of venality, this wand was invented by the Wizard Moraivic to corner the commodity futures market by transforming living creatures into useful and valuable natural resources.||Damages single target for ( 2 + 0.2 ) ( 2 + 4 ) ( 2 + 4 ).|
Spawns one of the following on hit: Malachite Cassiterite Zincblende Bauxite Hematite Argentite Native Gold Native Platinum Bituminous Coal.
|Wand of Laser||Aside from some tangential properties, this wand's primary magical power involves distracting cats.||Damages single target for 6 6 4.|
Invokes Fire 1 on targeted tile.
|Zodiacal Wand||The motions of these tiny spheres reflects the sky somewhere far above. What's your sign?||Removes active debuffs and damaging over-time spells from target.|
