The Wizard is one of the three Heroic Archetypes in the game, alongside the Warrior and the Rogue

You can gain Wizard levels by increasing skills that correspond to the Wizard archetype.

For example, spending a skill point on the Promethean Magic skill will increase your Wizard level by one.
